About the Open Call

As part of “MEHR SPRACH ICH,” the MESTIZX collective seeks to promote artistic expression and narratives in urban spaces, showcasing the richness of the diverse native languages spoken in our city. A significant aspect of this open call is prioritizing languages that have faced structural discrimination, colonization, and oppression. We encourage all individuals who have faced this systemic discrimination to apply.

The project is part of the “DRAUSSENSTADT” initiative, funded by the Berlin Urban Projects Fund and the Department of Culture and Europe of the Senate.
